Our Markets

As the building industry continues to produce larger homes with more appliances, the demand on power consumption is exceeding present limits in breaker technology. Breakers must increase in size to accommodate the increased load. Our smart breaker technology not only controls the load in a smaller, more adaptive and safe manner, it also creates a computer hub in the home or office that can be used as the central control for many applications.

Thousands of deaths and 10’s of billions of dollars in electronic-related fire damage occur each year in homes and in businesses due to electrical problems. Because UL codes are constantly being updated and currently no other company has a product that meets the new requirements, our system is in great demand worldwide. We currently have distribution in Mexico Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the U.S.

More than 120 million U.S. breaker box/receptacles will be replaced in homes and apartments as a result of new regulations, including 3 million new breaker box configurations each year.

The European market is not under the same requirements to change, but we believe the advancement in the breaker systems and features contained will be a compelling reason for Europe to adapt our breaker system to replace current breakers in the near future. The European market has over 250 million units with about 6 million new units coming on line each year.

EGC has the unique expertise to consult with developing nations to modernize their utilities and install new delivery systems that bring cost effective, intelligent safety and diagnostic products through an end-point gateway delivery service. One of our major products, the smart breaker/meter gateway system, provides a truly cost effective solution for any emerging utility grid network. In addition, the system provides grid stakeholders an opportunity to pay for the network by accepting video and audio transmissions and delivering them to the home or office end-user without additional wiring requirements.

This single solution will enable any grid provider to modernize, and offers an immediate return on the investment. The EGC solution will enable countries to deliver electricity to larger populations at a manageable cost, and to provide additional video and audio services to populations that have previously been underserved. Improving the grid and delivering stable power to a larger segment of these populations will create a C-change in cost effective power delivery and communications, resulting in improved quality of life and economic development for multiple countries around the world.

Our technology has also spawned a number of product solutions designed for the auto, aircraft, and marine markets that address the current need for high-grade diagnostics and maintenance notifications. The EGC technology will also be evolved  for use in the detection of failing parts and wiring faults in commercial motors and pumps, reducing costly machine parts failures and pinpointing wiring issues before they fail.
